Day-by-Day Detail

Monday — AI Game Design Day: “I am a game designer”

Kids deconstruct what makes a great game (character, world, rules). They invent their own — hero, villain, map, win conditions — and use AI to generate concept art for characters and scenes. The game manual (6–8 pages) is laid out in Canva and sent to print.

Tuesday — Maker Day: “3D print my character”

The Monday hero becomes a tangible figurine. Kids learn three-view thinking (front/side/back), model their character in TinkerCAD, and use AI to render in pixel, cartoon, or realistic styles. The 3D printer starts a multi-hour job.

Wednesday — STEM Build: “Build a game that actually plays”

Marble mazes, pinball launchers, cardboard arcades, whack-a-mole circuits — kids pick a playable build, integrate their Monday game theme, and playtest it with classmates. They learn that good games are iterated — designed, tested, redesigned.

Thursday — Robotics: “The robot enters the game”

Assemble and program a robot to navigate a maze, push balls, or patrol a course. The Wednesday game device becomes a robot course! The 3D figurine arrives mid-day — “this is the hero from your game.”

Friday — Gaming Carnival: “Every child is a game publisher”

Parents are invited. Each child runs their own game booth — parents and classmates play each game. Robot finals with live commentary. Game manuals are distributed. Each child walks out as a publisher, not just a player.

Your Child’s Growth Path — Planned, Not Left to Chance

A structured learning journey

From summer curiosity to lifelong skills — with a plan that fits your child.

After the camp, families have the option to book a 1:1 consultation with a coach to discuss next steps. We look at your child’s interests, pace, and showcase work, then recommend the best continuation — whether that’s a weekly Regular Program, specialized skill tracks, or (for exceptional campers) an invitation to the VEX Competition Prep Team.

This isn’t a generic upsell. It’s a personalized growth plan — some kids stay in creative STEM for the joy of building, others find they love competition. Both paths are valid, and we’ll help you choose the one that builds long-term confidence and skill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need prior tech or gaming experience?

None at all. Both junior (G1–3) and senior (G4–7) tracks start from zero. Our coaches are trained to meet every child where they are.

What about laptops, software, and supplies?

Please bring your own laptop or tablet, plus daily lunch and snacks. Everything else is provided — AI tools (kid-safe filtered), 3D printing, craft materials, robotics kits, and printed takeaways.

Can parents visit during the week?

The Friday Gaming Carnival is a special moment for families — typically the last 2–3 hours of the day, with exact timing announced by your coach. Parents are warmly recommended to attend. During the week, we share daily progress videos and photos in the parent group so you don’t miss a thing.

Is there extended care?

Yes — extended care is available before and after the main program. Please ask at registration for specific hours and pricing.
